(Screen), an industry leader in inkjet solutions, today announced that the technology platform used in the InfoPrint 5000 and Screen Truepress Jet520 continuous feed digital color inkjet systems leads the industry in purchased placements of digital production ink jet running high volumes. “Since 2007, InfoPrint Solutions and its partner, Screen, have sold more than half of all continuous-feed color inkjet systems installed in the United States and Western Europe,” according to analyst firm InfoTrends.
The InfoPrint 5000 and Screen’s Truepress Jet520 are used to produce a broad variety of applications, from statements to books to newspapers, in businesses around the world. Many customers have purchased more than one system. Across the technology install base, there are more than 18 external reference customer sites (purchased and in production), available for companies to contact while going through the vendor and technology evaluation process and considering Screen and InfoPrint Solutions.
InfoPrint Solutions selected Screen’s drop-on-demand inkjet technology as the best balance in addressing customer high-speed production requirements after an in-depth review of all inkjet technologies available or in development.
