BCC Accurant AQ How It Works

Accurant AQ, which is available on multiple platforms, is designed to provide comprehensive address data quality within your existing infrastructure. It is a single solution for batch and transactional processing that can be implemented as a standalone application with either centralized or decentralized deployment. The API enables integration at the library level or as a Web service. You can support diverse processing needs with connectivity to relational database and flat files, and Accurant AQ is capable of processing multiple sources and writing to multiple targets. The Web-based interface, which is over the XML layer, simplifies use.

The client (Web User Interface) is any device with a Web browser connected to the Web server either directly, or through intranet or Internet. The client receives the graphical user interface (GUI) as HTML from the Web server. The GUI is used to create the XML that is sent to the application for execution.

The Web server is running PHP scripting software. It is connected to one or more clients either directly, or through intranet or Internet. The Web server receives posts (form actions) from the client web GUI, stored as XML. The Web server sends the XML configurations to the application for processing.

The Accurant AQ application is any computer with the Accurant AQ application installed. The application is connected to the Web server (to communicate with the Web GUI), and it has access to the data sources and targets for reading and writing (databases may be local or remote). It also has access to the postal reference data for address validation look-ups.
