BCC cQuencer Features & Benefits

Exclusive net manifesting

Account for spoilage during a run and update mail piece counts while you preserve crucial tray arrangements that can make or break the success of a mailing.

Presorting functionality

Analyze mail piece data prior to the printing process and reorganizes your documents into the best sequence for optimal inserter throughput while keeping the postal presort intact—so you achieve the highest level of efficiency.

Obtain the capability to correct manifests and postage statements based on damaged mail, rather than doing it manually so you can keep your sequence intact and postal-ready.

BCC cQuencer How It Works

cQuencer makes it easy to sort multi-page documents into optimal inserter sequence without interrupting the postal presort. An exclusive net manifesting feature helps account for spoilage during a run and updates mail piece counts while preserving crucial tray arrangements. You know immediately the proper postage at the time mail leaves your facility, so you don’t have to rely on statements from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

cQuencer provides the following functionality:

Job Setup

  • Data can be pulled from multiple input Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) data files to provide the highest possible saturation density and lowest possible postage rates.
  • Job attributes are assessed, with details indexed and updated as needed to a central master index.
  • Mail piece weights and thicknesses are calculated.
  • USPS CASS encoding (ZIP+4/DPV®/LACSLink®) occurs, with bad addresses written to a file, if desired, for subsequent updating.

Mail Preparation

  • USPS MAC processing enables proper batch presorting per Postal Service specifications.
  • Page alignment and any necessary re-sequencing occurs.
  • Piece counts are generated for trays and tray-tag information.
  • Preliminary USPS reports are generated, alerting operators to anticipated scope of postage costs and other details.

Printing

  • Files are written in presort order for optimal speed and convenience.
  • 2-D barcodes, delivery point barcodes and manifest keylines are added, if necessary.

Inserting

  • Page alignment feature coordinates inserter activity to minimize production delays from variable-page records.

Job Completion

  • Net manifesting report reconciles spoilage against mailable pieces.
  • Master index is flushed to enable ongoing data-storage efficiency.
  • Final USPS report is generated, and the job is ready to go.
