FusionPro VDP Suite

Comprehensive variable data composition solutions

The FusionPro VDP Suite from PTI consists of FusionPro Desktop, FusionPro Server and FusionPro Direct, which are variable data publishing (VDP) composition offerings delivered in three ways: desktop, server (with API) and direct (server without the API). With VDP technologies, print service providers, enterprise marketers and in-plant operators can provide personalized marketing collateral, targeted direct mail campaigns, customized billing transactions, and more, to end user customers.

FusionPro Desktop, a plug-in workflow for Adobe® Acrobat, allows you to merge data, text and images; compose the output in one of several formats; and send press-ready files to output devices.

FusionPro Server enables you to compose large-scale personalized output through a custom workflow using APIs. You load templates from FusionPro Desktop and merge data, images, text, rules and composition settings prior to creating composition files.

FusionPro Direct is a locally-installed, off-line, server-based application. Job requests flow directly to FusionPro Direct, offloading the VDP composition process from local desktop machines. FusionPro Direct does not include an API for integration into a Web workflow.

The PTI suite includes software-as-a-service (SaaS), desktop and server applications. FusionPro products supply capabilities such as composition, variable data design, document personalization, image personalization and campaign tracking. MarcomCentral provides comprehensive Web-to-print capabilities for print service providers and marketing on-demand systems for enterprises. The templates you create in FusionPro Desktop can be used by FusionPro Server, FusionPro Direct and MarcomCentral.

FusionPro Desktop

The business logic rules can be created via a simple drag-and-drop interface or through JavaScript.

FusionPro Server

  • Integrate with a variety of Web-to-print solutions and high-volume, hands-off internal VDP composition workflows.
  • Support high-volume print and mail operations by generating tens of thousands of document pages per hour from layouts created with FusionPro Desktop.
  • Gain efficiencies through Web-enabled soft proofing that powers instant PDF or JPG/GIF previews.
  • Streamline composition of online versioned or variable documents because users can choose images and specify content on the Web to be merged into layouts defined by FusionPro Desktop.

FusionPro Direct
