InfoPrint Solutions Company Launches Latest Version of Productivity Tracker Version 2.1

InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, today launched a new version of the industry-leading InfoPrint Productivity Tracker Version 2.1, self-service software that helps collect and analyze on-demand operational data for continuous forms printers including the InfoPrint 4100, InfoPrint 4000 and full color inkjet system, the InfoPrint 5000.

The InfoPrint Productivity Tracker Version 2.1 allows production managers to gain detailed insights into the workings of hardware that can optimize print operations, maximize printer utilization and minimize labor costs. This ultimately reduces the cost of printing, a key pain point for many commercial printers.

The software is easily installed from a CD-ROM by the user and accessed from a single simple interface. It gathers data from the hardware and subsequently stores it in the database before organizing, analyzing and displaying data in operational graphs.

Sample graphs can be selected based on timeframe, operator, printer, and shifts, and include information such as estimated percentage of time printing, estimated click count and toner changes and error frequency.

This information provides users a comprehensive set of production statistics and gives the ability to improve operating efficiencies, workload balancing, while enhancing problem determination and tracking of operational standards.
