SPECIFICATIONS

StreamServe Business Communication Platform

Control Document Management—Easily and Securely.

StreamServe Business Communication Platform (BCP) is an independent communication layer that allows you to exchange information originating from electronic sources to other delivery channels—including the Web, business exchanges, e-mail, distributed production print operations, and mobile technology.

The intelligent rules-based engine understands when and how to route information to the right recipient at the right place and time. As a result, you can capture and hold your communication-related processes in a single repository, completely separate from any proprietary applications or media. You acquire a fully integrated enterprise business communication environment that generally needs to be configured only once.

Your e-business, ERP and supply chain initiatives depend upon delivering products and services to your customers and suppliers fast and cost effectively, and this, in turn, depends on the smooth flow of information across your employee/supplier/customer network. With BCP, you can take advantage of Web Services formats and standards and exploit XML to conduct business over the Internet.

StreamServe Version 4.1

A major change with StreamServe Business Communications Platform (BCP) Version 4.1 is the implementation of transaction pricing. Most of the components are now priced by the volume of documents that are produced annually. This enables pricing to directly correspond to the value produced. The modules for ERP support remain priced by number of ERP users.

Version 4.1 also includes several additional input connector modules. AFPIN provides for access and use of formatted AFP (Advanced Function Presentation) documents. PDFIN provides for access and use of PDF documents. This means that the data in AFP and PDF documents already produced by other applications can be used and "remissioned" for new documents.

In addition, Version 4.1 includes extensions and enhancements to the other functional modules comprising the Business Communications Platform.
